Group: How One Therapist and a Circle of Strangers Saved My Life

Finished Group over the long weekend, which depicts Christie Tate’s personal therapy journey. It’s a good read and honestly felt like fiction most of the time because there’s a LOT of drama.

You become attached to her, you cry with her (literally cried so hard at ch 19), you ache for her, you cheer for her, and finally hands down you’re so happy for her.

I would recommend it especially to all the 20s/30s ladies out there because it goes deep into perspectives of how women view and struggle with relationships at that age.

It covers eating disorder, body image issues, overcoming a death, relationships, and sex. But not in a scary way at all.

I think a lot of people will be able to relate to her pain and struggle, and can learn from her mistakes to refrain from doing it themselves.
