UBC Graduation During COVID19
<2019-2020 • Vancouver, Canada>
Right after completing the UBC Triathlon in March 2019, the university and whole world went into lockdown due to COVID19. The rest of the semester was online, the Iron Ring Ceremony was cancelled, and the Graduation Ceremony was a pre-recorded video online. But even though my university years didn’t end as expected, I’m extremely grateful that my family and I have been safe and healthy throughout the year and now are happily vaccinated.
Danmarks Tekniske Universitet

Exchange abroad at DTU for a year. Worked part-time at Shape Robotics, a local educational robotics startup. Represented this company at multiple tech conventions in Denmark, Sweden, the Netherlands, and the UK. Met many nice friends in classes and went on many trips with them to Berlin, Brussels, Sweden, Prague, Vienna, Budapest, and other parts of Denmark!
University of British Columbia
<2017-2018 • Vancouver, Canada>
Transferred to UBC to study Computer Engineering. Joined the ECE Student Society, IEEE Society, and met great friends to do group projects with, compete in hackathons with, and go on a university sponsored company tour trip in Silicon Valley.
Also joined UBC Debate Club and UBC Go Club.
Waseda University

Enrolled into Waseda University on scholarship studying Modern Mechanical Engineering. Learned Japanese, met so many friends, explored Tokyo every weekend, went skiing in Takaifuji, and climbed Fuji-san (Mount Fuji)!

Graduated from Taipei American School in May 2016. I had the best past 4 years in this school. I’ve learned so much from amazing teachers, explored different fields in extra-curricular activities, and made lifelong friends here!
